In a preliminary move by the NFF to get the Super Falcons out of the team's Abuja hotel, officials and coaches of the Falcons have been thrown out of the Agura Hotel in Abuja on the orders of the football federation.
Players and officials of the Super Falcons have been on a sit-in protest since they returned from their successful campaign in Cameroon and have vowed not to leave till they get their match bonuses and allowances in full even under threats of life bans.
With the officials having a lot to lose with the threats, officials led by coach Florence Omagbemi have reportedly vacated the hotel and are hoping the fight put up by the playing staff of the team would come to a good end.
The officials, who are on the NFF's payroll, would not take part of today's protest which has been rerouted to the National Assembly to get the attention of the Nigerian President who would be presenting the country's proposed budget today.
Apart from the match bonuses and allowances from the tournament in Cameroon, the eight times winners of the women's AFCON have not been paid for other official matches dating back to last year.
