Ibrahimovic to miss Arsenal match through suspension

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss Manchester United's next Premier League game against Arsenal.

The Swede picked up his fifth yellow card of the league campaign in United's 3-1 win over Swansea City and will therefore have to sit out when the Gunners travel to Old Trafford on November 19.

Ibrahimovic, 35, ended his goalscoring drought for Jose Mourinho's men by netting twice against the Swans with two first-half strikes.

The marksman had previously failed to find the back of the net since the start of September against Manchester City, but got back to goalscoring ways with a fine double on Sunday.

Paul Pogba also found the back of the net for United as Mourinho's charges moved up to sixth in the table.

The Swede, however, was once again dogged by the referee to earn yet another yellow. A needless foul from behind on Leroy Fer saw him go into the referee's book in the 76th minute, to mark the first yellow of the match in the Liberty Stadium.

Zlatan leads the Premier League in fouls committed with 26 so far, a rare feat for a forward, and he admitted he was surprised at how many booking he has picked up in such a short space of time.

"I thought you played rough in England? I heard that's what they do," he joked to reporters. "Everytime I've played rough, I get a yellow."

The suspension will force Mourinho to shuffle his hand ahead of the clash, with Marcus Rashford a candidate to move into a more central position.

The teenage sensation has been featuring on the wing for United under the Portuguese manager, and was an unused substitute on Sunday.

But Mourinho has faced calls to try the youngster at centre-forward, and Zlatan's ban could give him the opportunity to hand Rashford the responsibility of leading the forward line against Arsene Wenger's men.

Anthony Martial, who also sat on the bench against Swansea, is another option to enter, although the young Frenchman has struggled for form this season.
