Banyana Banyana of South Africa booked their place in the semi-finals of this year's Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon after defeating Egypt 5-0 in their last Group A game on Friday.
The South Africans needed an outright win to stand a chance of advancing into the last four of the tournament after their opening day 0-0 draw against Zimbabwe and a 1-0 loss to hosts Cameroon in their second game.
The win took South Africa's tally to four points and second in group A behind Cameroon who finished top on nine points after beating Zimbabwe 2-0 also on Friday.
South Africa will now meet the team that finish top in Group B, on Tuesday, 29 November, while Cameroon will square off against the team that come second also on Tuesday.
The two teams that will qualify for the semi-finals in Group B will be confirmed on Saturday as the Super Falcons already on 4 points will take on Kenya who are already out.
Ghana who are also in 4 points will do battle against Mali.
