Injured Rangers Striker Seeks For Help From Nigerians

Rangers International FC striker, Ifeanyi Egwim has called on Nigeria soccer fans to pray for him to recover quickly and fast enough from the breaking leg injury he sustained during their last league game against El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri played in Enugu.

Egwim who came into the game in the 80minutes were injured after he came in contact one on one with the goalkeeper which resulted to the breaking of his leg and was rushed to the hospital where he is taking treatment.

Speaking with SportsDay from his sick-bed on Monday morning, Egwim tasked all hi fans including his team mates and families to pray without season for him to get out of bed as sson as possible.


He said, “I really don’t know what to say, I am short of words but I thank God because he knows why this happen to me,” he said. 

“All I see in my head is the ability of not playing active football for a long time, how my family is going to cope without me in action for a long time, what the future has for me from this moment,” he added. 

“I need God miracle as fast as it can happen. Look at me lying down here when my team mates are celebrating, well there is nothing I or anyone can do about it,” 

“Please my friends and fans should not stop praying for me to recover as soon as possible. I need to go home and be with my family while I prepare for next season by the special grace of God,” Egwim prayed
