Bayern Munich picked up a simple three points against PSV on Wednesday, beating the Dutch champions 4-1.
The home side took the lead just 13 minutes in when Arjen Robben found the PSV defence sleeping with a quick corner to Thomas Muller inside the box. The Germany international took it on comfortably and fired in at the second time of asking.
The lead was doubled just eught minutes later when David Alaba's cross was deflected towards the back post, where Joshua Kimmich came rushing in to head over the line.
PSV thought they had pulled one back when Gaston Pereiro slotted in after a fine combination, but the assistant's flag was up.
Moments later, though, the Eredivisie side did get their goal, with Luciano Narsingh running onto Gaston Pereiro's pass and smashing in off the post.
But just before the hour mark, Bayern had a two goal lead once again as Robben caught onto a long punt from Arjen Robben and tricked his way into the box before unleashing a shot. Jeroen Zoet managed to stop the Dutchman's effort, but it rebounded to Robert Lewandowski who nodded it in.
And Robben added the icing on the cake for Bayern, running into the box to head Thiago's lobbed pass beyond the incoming Zoet and into the net.
