Young Nigerian playmaker Kelechi Nwakali has confirmed that he has officially completed his long-awaited transfer to Arsenal.
The 18-year-old has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium since the start of the year, and after months of speculation, it would appear that he is now the fourth signing of the summer for the club after confirming the deal via his Twitter account today.
Nwakali was apart of the Super Eagles’ U17 side that triumphed at last year’s World Cup in Chile and he impressed a number of scouts throughout the tournament – including Gunners manager Arsene Wenger – after netting three times in the process.
I am officially an @Arsenal player. Thanks to God and my family and friends.Hard work starts now! He wrote on twitter.
