Martial trolled by ex-wife after Ibrahimovic takes his No.9 shirt at Man United

Manchester United’s decision to ditch Anthony Martial as their No.9 appears to have gone down partially well with his ex-wife.

The France international was handed the jersey for his debut campaign at Old Trafford after his arrival from Monaco but after just one season he’s been forced to make way for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Reports in France claimed that Martial was not even informed of the decision, sparking rumours that he was unhappy with United having created an ‘AM9’ brand which was frequently posted on his social media accounts.

Ibrahimovic confirmed his new number on Instagram, claiming that the decision was his choice. And to rub salt into the wound, Martial’s ex-wife, Samantha, supported the Swede’s announcement by liking the photo.

Martial split with Samantha earlier this year following reports claiming that he had cheated on her with an X Factor contestant in Paris.
