West Ham United of England have moved quickly in the hunt for a replacement of Super Eagles star, Victor Moses, with a Nigerian-born winger, Jordon Ibe billed to join The Hammers from English Premier League rivals, Liverpool.
A report by British newspaper, Daily Express, however, says West Ham are facing challenges in their pursuit of Ibe, as their fellow-London-based rivals, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are said to hold interest in the winger.
With Moses already heading back to his parent club, Chelsea for pre-season and tipped to rejoin Stoke City in another loan deal for the coming season, the Hammers need a replacement in their squad and Ibe appears the most likely addition this summer.
Talk of Ibe moving to the London club gained more credence early this week, when the England youth international was seen posing in a West ham jersey for a photo shot.
With Ibe snapped in a West Ham shirt, there appeared more credence to earlier reports that he could be set for a summer exit from Anfield, especially with Liverpool reportedly ready to listen to offers for his signature.
