Genk Reject €6million For Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi

Racing Genk of Belgium have turned down an offer of six million Euros for Super Eagles rookie midfielder-cum-defender, Wilfred Ndidi, less than two years after they paid $200,000 for him.

The 19-year-old Ndidi, who joined Genk in January 2015 as a central defender and played six matches mostly as a left or right fullback, has made a remarkable progress in a highly promising career.

However, in the past season, Ndidi marked his conversion to defensive midfield by playing 38 matches and scoring four goals in the league, as Genk qualified for the play-offs and eventually booked their passage to next season’s UEFA Europa League.
