Former Super Eagles Player & Coach Join NPFL Strugglers Ikorodu United

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper and goalkeepers’ trainer Ike Shorunmu has joined struggling Nigeria Professional Football League side, Ikorodu United

The Oga Boys are doing all within their reach to survive the drop in their maiden season in the country’s top flight and have made moves to fortify their technical bench going as far as bringing in a Dutch Coach in the person of Theo De Jong after parting of ways by mutual consent with Sam Okpodu.

Aside Shorunmu, Ikorodu United through their Media Manager, Babatunde Ayoola announced the coming of Shakiru Giwa as an Assistant Coach for the team.

Ikorodu United Football Club will be playing away to MFM FC on Sunday at the Agege Township Stadium in match day 25 of the NPFL tagged the Lagos Derby.
