Chelsea to sign Batshuayi in €40 million deal

Michy Batshuayi will join Chelsea in a €40 million deal, according to L’Equipe.

The Belgium international has agreed a five-year deal and the deal is due to be announced on Wednesday.

Crystal Palace had offered €38m to Marseille for the 22-year-old but the striker has turned down a move to Alan Pardew’s side.

Batshuayi, who scored with his first touch in Belgium’s 4-0 victory over Hungary on Sunday, will be Antonio Conte’s first Chelsea signing.
