Swansea City fought back from a goal down to comfortably beat Newcastle United after goals from Nelson Oliveira, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jack Cork.
Azoye Perez struck first as he pounced upon Emmanuel Riviere’s cross from the left flank.
In additional time at the end of the first half, Oliveira leveled the score with a header after meeting Sigurdsson’s cross.
The Swans went ahead following the interval after Tim Krul’s sliced
clearance fell to Jefferson Montero, who crossed Sigurdsson to slot in.
With three minutes to play Dutch striker Siem De Jong scored his first
goal of the game as he headed in Jack Colback's cross but the Magpies
were unable to find a leveler.
