Manchester United to make Januzaj available for loan

Manchester United are planning to make Adnan Januzaj available for loan in the summer.

Januzaj has made 17 appearances in the Premier League since the arrival of Louis van Gaal, starting just seven of those games, despite emerging as a member of the first-team squad under David Moyes.

United have no desire to sell the 20-year-old but are keen for the Belgium international to play regular first team football next season, preferably in the Champions League.

Januzaj signed a five-year contract in October 2013 and earns €80,000 per week, while the forward was once described as "the best-paid youngster in the world" who "earns more than [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Lionel] Messi did when they were 18," by agent Dirk De Vries.

Now 20 and having joined the Doyen Sports Group, Januzaj is set to have his pick of clubs to join on loan next season.

Thegoalmac understands United would be willing to send Januzaj to PSV for 12 months as they push forward with their efforts to sign Memphis Depay.

Januzaj turned down Paris Saint-Germain prior to signing his deal with United, and the French club remain admirers of the Belgian.

Tottenham have previously failed with an attempt to sign the former Anderlecht youngster, while Everton are monitoring the situation, with Roberto Martinez hoping to unite him with international team-mate Romelu Lukaku.
