Yaya Toure's agent has told Sky Sports News he
will speak to Manchester City about the midfielder's future, but says
it is "no problem" if the Premier League champions do not want to keep
him with "different offers" already on the table.
Toure, who turns 32 next month, has struggled to replicate the form
of previous impressive seasons for City, with Manuel Pellegrini's title
holders lying 12 points behind league leaders Chelsea having played a
game more.
The Ivory Coast international's future has been the subject of
speculation since last summer, when Toure and agent Dimitry Seluk said the club had shown the midfielder a lack of respect after failing to wish him a happy birthday.
Seluk said in February that Toure wanted to stay at the Etihad Stadium "for life," but the agent told the Sunday Mirror last weekend
that Pellegrini is a "weak manager" and that the club's executives have
been "trying to blame Yaya for what has happened this season."
Toure has since told the Manchester Evening News that he "loves playing for City," but has also called Paris Saint-Germain a "great club" and Inter Milan Roberto Mancini "a special coach" with both sides reportedly interested in him.
Seluk confirmed on Wednesday that other clubs are keen on securing a
deal for Toure, saying: "We have had different offers for Yaya but we
must speak to Manchester City. People think he will stay because of
money but we don't care about money.
