Sturridge thanks Jesus for helping him return from injury

Thegoalmac can reveal that Daniel Sturridge has revealed how grateful he is to Jesus after he returned to first-team training at Liverpool following a lengthy injury lay-off.

Good to know that Sturridge believes in Jesus Christ, I wish him injury free season from now on in Jesus name, Amen. Continue for what he tweeted.
Sturridge, who scored 21 Premier League goals last season, has not featured for the Reds since starring in a 3-0 win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane on August 31 after sustaining a thigh injury on England duty.

The 25-year-old's fitness sparked a fierce public spat between Brendan Rodgers and Roy Hodgson, and he suffered a setback earlier this month on the eve of Liverpool's clash with QPR, injuring his calf in training.

But Sturridge, who recently suggested in an interview with talkSPORT that his injury problems might be hereditary, took to Twitter to reveal he is once again on the road to recovery.
