You agree agree with legend Cryuff? Continue for more details on his reasons.
Despite losing their last two league matches, the Blaugrana are performing well on the pitch, but the Dutchman, who won a host of trophies with them as a player and coach, feels the problems suffered off the field have severely affected the club.
A long list of scandals have rocked Barca of late: Lionel Messi's allegations of tax fraud, former president Sandro Rosell in court following claims of corruption over the Neymar transfer and the club banned from signing players in 2015 due to irregularities in the recruitment of young players.
More recently, former president Josep Lluis Nunez is set to go to prison after a high-profile tax fraud case.
And Cruyff says he is devastated to see the club's class diminish.
"I am sorry to see Barcelona this way. We have lost a lot of prestige in the world. With the Unicef partnership, it was the jewel of the world and everyone wanted to watch Barca.
"Everyone who loves this club is not happy with what is happening, between the trials and a president who can go to jail."
Cruyff was also asked for his thoughts on the criticism Lionel Messi has faced at various times in the last year and how he feels the trio of the Argentine, Neymar and Luis Suarez are combining in their first two games.
"Messi does not play alone," he replied. "It's easy to say that someone does not work. I do see a happy Messi.
"Give him, Suarez and Neymar time. Next year we will sit here and see how it goes."
The Champions League-winning coach also spoke about the team's current boss.
"Luis Enrique loves football. It is very difficult for me to give advice to him. Barcelona went from having two coaches in nine years, to three in three now. There's more going on than we can see."
