Costa must play for Spain if he plays for Chelsea, says Del Bosque

Thegoamac can reveal that Vicente del Bosque insists that Diego Costa will not be allowed to pull out of Spain squads as far as he fit to play for his club.

I completely agree with Del Bosque on this one,if Mourinho feels Diego Costa needs rest he should be the first to prove it by benching him or not playing him at all,not after he plays two games in a row for  Chelsea and for 90 minutes and he expects Spain not to call him up.

Continue for the Mr Vincente said.

"If he’s well, he will have to play with the national team," La Roja's coach told AS. "His muscle injury is very difficult to prove.

“We were almost in the realm of the mystical. It’s not that complicated. If he’s ok, he plays, as he did in Paris. If he’s not right, he goes back to his club, as against Macedonia."

Del Bosque also confirmed that he will step down from his Spain post at the end of Euro 2016.

“I’ll stay until France 2016, unless I see a reason not to," he said.

"I don’t expect to resign before that. That is my intention, to stay until France 2016 and leave after. And the Spanish Football Federation can make a smooth transition.”

Del Bosque has sat on the Spain bench since 2008, winning the World Cup in 2010 and the Euros two years later.
