Bale ruled out El Clasico, says Ancelotti

Thegoalmac can reveal that Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Gareth Bale will miss Saturday's Clasico against Barcelona due to injury.

This is really not the best news for this first El Clasico of the season, would have really wanted everyone to be available, but i guess Barca fans will be really happy, because Bale not playing means less speed for them to contain,Lol.Continue for Mr Carlo said.

The Italian told reporters at the pre-match press conference: "Bale got an injury in training on Friday, so he is not available for today [Liverpool] or the game on Saturday.

"Bale travelled to Valencia as it didnt seem serious, it seemed to be a strain. But when we returned he had a scan which showed [tear]."

Bale's place in the starting XI is likely to be filled by Isco, who impressed over the weekend, while Ancelotti will also need to draft in a replacement for centre-back Sergio Ramos, who also misses the trip to Anfield through injury.

The Spain international was left out of the travelling party as he recovers from a calf injury, meaning Nacho could feature in his place.
