Arsenal dealt massive massive Cazorla injury blow

This is simply crazy, don't you guys think Arsenal should sack their entire medical team?
Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is facing three months out of action after scans revealed he has sustained knee ligament damage.

Cazorla sustained the injury in the second half of Sunday’s draw with Norwich, with initial scans revealing that the 30-year-old damaged his medial knee ligaments.

The Spaniard is expected to be sidelined for three months as Arsenal’s injury crisis - 10 first-team players are currently sidelined - continues to worsen.

Arsene Wenger is expected to provide an update on Cazorla’s fitness on Thursday, as well as on the state of Alexis Sanchez, who is likely to miss around a month with a hamstring strain also sustained at Carrow Road.

In better news, Laurent Koscielny is in contention to play in Saturday’s Premier League fixture against Sunderland or in the crucial Champions League trip to Olympiakos next week despite being substituted with a hip injury on Sunday.

Cazorla had become a key part of the Arsenal side in central midfield alongside Francis Coquelin - who is also out until 2016 - with Wenger’s problems mounting ahead of the busy December schedule.

Wenger admitted he was concerned about Cazorla’s injury after he “finished the game on one leg” against Norwich. The 30-year-old only remained on the pitch because the visitors had already used all three of their substitutions.

Aaron Ramsey is now expected to revert to his preferred central midfield role alongside either Mathieu Flamini or Calum Chambers until the New Year, when Wenger hopes to sign reinforcements in the January transfer window.
