Watford kept their unbeaten pre-season record going with a comfortable win over German second division side Paderborn after goals from Matej Vydra and Odion Ighalo.
Former West Brom loanee Vydra, gave the Hornets the lead in the first half after he latched onto a Deeney through-ball and finished superbly.
Two half-time substitutes combined to double the Hornets lead as Ikechi Anya set up Ighalo just after an hour at the Benteler Arena.
The Scotland international burst down the flank and saw his cut back fall to Deeney, whose initial effort was blocked, but the Ighalo made no mistake from the rebound.
That made it six goals in four games for the Nigerian during pre-season as Flores begins to think about who will be in his starting line-up for their Premier League opener against Everton.
