I wiil try and convince my friend Messi to join Man City, says Aguero

Thegoalmac understands that Sergio Aguero says he will try and convince compatriot and friend Lionel Messi to move to the Premier League.

Aguero himself admitted he would love for his fellow countryman to move to the Premier League, though he realises it will be difficult to persuade him.

"It's a tough ask. I'll try and convince him," he said after winning the Football Supporters' Federation Player of the Year award.
