Bayern won the game for City not Aguero, says Dante

Hehe, Thegoalmac can reveal that Dante has blamed Bayern Munich's defending in their 3-2 Champions League defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday and feels their own mistakes cost them the game, rather than Sergio Aguero's individual brilliance.

"Aguero is a great player but I think the defeat was not because of what City did, it was just two mistakes from us," the Brazilian defender, 31, told Uefa.com.

"These things happen in football. Aguero is a high-quality player and when he gets a chance normally he scores a goal.

"We respect City - they are a great team and, even if we had already qualified in first place, we came here to play and respect the fans.

"Even with 10 men we played well. It was a good performance."
Bayern remain first in Group A with 12 points from five games, while City sit fourth with five points from as many games, level with Roma and CSKA Moscow.
