Manchester United are not fully convinced by Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld and do not have him at the top of their shortlist, according to theManchester Evening News.
Scouts have questioned the defender’s profile, and United are said to value Alderweireld at about £20 million less than the Spurs asking price of £70m ($93m).
Raphael Varane, Jerome Boateng, Kalidou Koulibaly, Milan Skriniar, Alessio Romagnoli, Jose Gimenez and Caglar Soyuncu are all prospective targets for the club as they consider centre-back a top priority this summer.
