James Rodriguez’s agent Jorge Mendes wants to persuade Bayern Munich to sign the on-loan Real Madrid playmaker permanently, and then sell him to Barcelona for €100 million, claims Don Balon.
Bayern signed Rodriguez on a two-year loan deal in the summer and have the option to take the Colombia international on a permanent basis for €60m.
However, Rodriguez is unhappy at Bayern following the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti, with reports suggesting Thiago Alcantara and Arturo Vidal are also unsettled at the Allianz Arena.
Mendes wants to engineer a move to Barca for Rodriguez, although the player’s gratitude towards Madrid could be one of the stumbling blocks in any deal.
