Cristiano Ronaldo says he is not worried about his lack of goals this season and is convinced Real Madrid will soon turn things around.
The Portugal captain had five shots on goal against Tottenham on Wednesday but scored once in Madrid's 3-1 loss at Wembley in the Champions League.
Voted the Best FIFA Men's Player for a second year running last month, Ronaldo has found the back of the net just once in his last three games and has failed to score more than one goal in a match since Sept. 26.
"I'm super calm about my goals," Ronaldo told Cadena Cope. "It seems you are not interested in good performances but rather about goals and only numbers count. But if you Google 'Cristiano goals,' you see all of mine there."
Following Wednesday's loss, Madrid are second in Group H and three points adrift of leaders Tottenham, but five points clear of Borussia Dortmund with two group games remaining.
In La Liga, Madrid are third and eight points adrift of leaders Barcelona after 10 games following Sunday's shock 2-1 defeat at Girona.
"The important thing is the end result and not the beginning," Ronaldo told beIN SPORTS. "The fans have to be patient and confident. We admit that we are not playing as we should. But I don't see the team so badly, we have to be calm and confident. We know we are in a bad spell but things change.
"Of course it's bad because we lost and we are accustomed to winning. It's a bad spell and we want to change and I'm certain that we will. We still have a lot of time to improve and I'm convinced we will."
Ronaldo felt Wednesday's result against Tottenham was not a fair reflection of his team's performance.
"I think the result didn't show what we did on the pitch," the 32-year-old said. "Tottenham's first goal was offside and at Girona their second goal was also offside. These are things that we cannot control but what we can is our attitude and our fighting spirit and that wasn't lacking in either game."
Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is also confident his team will rediscover their form.
"Real Madrid always returns and will put everyone in its place," Ramos told Onda Cero. "Whoever gives up Real Madrid for dead, we will put them in their place. Of course we would have preferred to have taken another good result here but Real Madrid will hit back and will do so very soon."
Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane told his players to "keep their heads" to overcome the "bad moment," while midfielder Luka Modric says the club are not suffering from a physical or mental problem.
"When you lose at Real Madrid everything is blown out of proportion," ex-Tottenham man Modric told beIN SPORTS. "We have gone through difficult times before and we have found a way out and I'm certain we will do so again.
"The last two games we were not at our level. We need to put things right and raise our game. It was not our night. We tried, we fought. What we are missing is our style of play. We know we are not playing the way we can, that is our problem at the moment."
