Cristiano Ronaldo wants Real Madrid to sign William Carvalho from Sporting CP, according to Don Balon.
Carvalho - who, like Ronaldo, emerged through Sporting's famed youth academy - was strongly linked with West Ham throughout the summer.
But Ronaldo has now reportedly urged Real president Florentino Perez to snap up his highly rated Portugal team-mate instead.
