Liverpool have not given up in their chase to sign Southampton centre-half Virgil van Dijk, says the Mirror .
Jurgen Klopp marked the Netherlands international as his priority signing during the summer window but a move broke down due to relationship issues between the two clubs.
The Liverpool boss will supposedly make another move in January, though, in view of strengthening the Reds' underwhelming defensive unit.
