Barcelona endured a frustrating summer after failing to land Philippe Coutinho to replace Neymar, but Onda Cero reports that they also swung and missed on Atletico superstar Antoine Griezmann.
The Blaugrana tabled an offer worth around £124 million, but given the Madrid-based side's transfer ban and the France international's loyalty, a sale was completely ruled out.
Manchester United were also strongly linked to Griezmann earlier in the summer before switching focus to a pure No. 9 in Romelu Lukaku.
