For most players around Europe, the football season is over. Which means they have a small window to enjoy the break before preparations for next season ramp up once more.
And that's not taking into account the small matter of World Cup qualification matches for international stars.
So it seems some of football's elite have grabbed the opportunity with both hands as they set sail for sunnier climes this summer.

Meanwhile Southampton star Charlie Austin has jetted off to the Caribbean to enjoy his summer break. The Saints striker has swapped the English south coast for the beaches of Barbados after a frustrating season which yielded only 15 appearances.
But the England international appeared to put all that behind him as he and wife Bianca Parker splashed around the sea — even taking a jetski ride in the Caribbean Ocean.

He wasn't the only one to enjoy the open water and sand, as Alexis Sanchez posted a snap on a yacht with friends while Andy Carroll took to the desert with fiancee Billi Mucklow.
England internationals Danny Simpson and Kieran Gibbs jetted off to the Greek island of Mykonos for their summer break. Simpson posted the photo on Instagram, tagging the Arsenal left back, with the caption: 'Had a good few battles over the years but today was a good day.'
There is, however, the small matter of international football. England face Scotland next week in their World Cup qualifier and Spain face Macedonia after a midweek friendly with Colombia.
Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana posted a photo of his suitcase all packed for the international break while Arsenal's Nacho Monreal relaxed in a pool in Getaria before joining up with the Spain squad in Murcia for the midweek clash.

Barcelona star Neymar and Chelsea defender David Luiz also have an international clash on their minds. However they will both meet up with the squad after trips to Los Angeles and France respectively following hectic seasons for the Brazil stars.
Meanwhile Celtic forward Scott Sinclair continues his New York holiday with fiancee Helen Flanagan and Yohan Cabaye posted a photo in a pool accompanied by an idyllic backdrop.
And Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer finds himself relaxing on holiday as he attempts to recover from his foot injury which he suffered in April — ruling him out for the remainder of the season.
He was pictured in a foot brace and wished his Instagram followers a 'great summer'.
