LMC Slap N9m Fine Plus Other Sanctions On IfeanyiUbah For Forfeiting Match

The league management company (LMC) has delivered their sanction on NPFL club IfeanyiUbah after their disgraceful act on Saturday

Ifeanyi Ubah protested against Kano Pillars when they appear to have drawn level from a free kick just before the end of the first half.
And three minutes after the restart, the Nnewi club walked out on the game apparently on an order from a top club official.

An LMC delivered their sanctions in a series of tweets via their official account moments ago. The sanctions includes a N9m fine and 3 points plus 3 goals awarded to Kano Pillars.

LMC Tweet reads: For refusing to continue the  game vs Kano Pillars on Saturday, FC Ifeanyiubah will pay a fine of N3m.

FC Ifeanyiubah will also forfeit 3 points, 3 goals from the  game which shall be credited to their opponents Kano Pillars.

FC Ifeanyiubah will pay a fine of N5m for hindering & infringing the live TV Broadcast of the  game vs Kano Pillars.

For conduct capable of bringing the  to disrepute, FC Ifeanyiubah shall pay a fine of N1m.
