Inter secure Lucas Leiva loan

Liverpool have given Inter the all-clear to take Lucas Leiva on loan in January, the Guardian reports.

The 29-year-old has not featured regularly under Jurgen Klopp this season and would be open to a move away from Anfield in search of playing time.

And Inter offer such an option, with the Nerazzurri now having secured the approval of the Reds for a move for the remainder of the season.

Marseille's Lass Diarra and Chelsea's John Obi Mikel are believed to be the Serie A side's other options.
