Chinese Super League targeting referee Clattenburg

The Chinese Super League is targeting a move for top Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg, according to the Daily Mirror.

A number of Premier League players - with Chelsea's Oscar expected to be the latest - have been transferred to the CSL for significant fees over the past year and the division hopes to further boost its rise by recruiting a high-profile official.

Clattenburg was named the world's best referee at the Globe Soccer Awards on Tuesday and took charge of the finals of the FA Cup, the European Championship and the Champions League in 2016.
