Marc Pugh netted the only goal of the game as Bournemouth edged out Leicester City 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday.
On his first start of the season, the Cherries midfielder made a telling contribution in the 34th minute.
Benik Afobe saw a low effort parried to the middle of the box and Pugh swept home a volley from 12 yards out.
Bournemouth now sit in the top-half of the Premier League table, while reigning champions Leicester continue to look anxiously over their shoulder at the relegation zone.
