Andres Iniesta has posted an image of his now unneeded knee brace on Twitter and declared he never wants to see it again as he continues to recover from injury.
The Spain international is recovering from an injury suffered in last month's win against Valencia and appears to have reached a point where the brace is no longer required.
Alongside an image of the discarded knee support, he wrote: "Next step! You have helped me a lot but I never want to see you again."
The former Chelsea midfielder has been one of the stand-out performers during what has been an indifferent start to the 2016-17 campaign for Jose Mourinho's side.
United won just two games in October, the EFL Cup derby victory over Manchester City and a 4-1 Europa League triumph against Fenerbahce.
Mata was the hero in that cup clash at Old Trafford, scoring the winning goal after 54 minutes, but he was unable to help his side beat Burnley in Saturday's stalemate at Old Trafford.
