Olivier Giroud's late header not only gave Arsenal a dramatic draw but also extended Manchester United's frustrating run of Old Trafford stalemates in the Premier League.
It looked like being the perfect day for Jose Mourinho against his arch-rival Arsene Wenger, but substitute Giroud's towering header saw the Gunners bag a draw from a game they were always second best in.
United have had mixed results recently, but at Old Trafford they had drawn their last two Premier League games against Stoke and Burnley and again suffered more frustration as they could not hold onto a deserved 1-0 lead against Arsenal.
The result means Mourinho's United have emulated the team of April 1992 who also managed to draw three straight league games at Old Trafford.
