Leicester are ready to make an improved £20 million bid for Burnley defender Michael Keane after being knocked back in the summer, according to The Sun.
The centre-back has been settling in well at the heart of Burnley's defence and has been rewarded for his efforts with an England call-up.
It is claimed, however, that Keane has been stalling over a new deal with Sean Dyche's side and the feeling within the Foxes camp is that Champions League football could tempt the 23-year-old to switch allegiances.
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is concerned that there is no real competition for centre-backs Wes Morgan and Robert Huth, and European football has stretched his squad further.
Burnley, for their part, appear to be preparing for a winter raid and have already sent scouts out to identify replacements for the Stockport-born defender.
The report also claims that Antonio Conte has one eye on Keane as Chelsea look for homegrown talent to add to their resurgent squad.
