Sevilla to raise N'Zonzi release clause amid Barcelona and Chelsea talk

Sevilla are eager to discuss a new contract with Steven N'Zonzi and raise his release clause to €40 million (£35.6m), according to Spanish news outlet El Decano .

Barcelona are among those to have expressed an interest in the French midfielder as they seek a back-up option to Sergio Busquets.

Chelsea have also been linked with a move to bring the former Stoke City man back to the Premier League, but Sevilla – having tied the 27-year-old to a four-year deal in 2015 – will look to put fresh terms on the table in an effort to fend off advances from afar.
