Valencia have appointed former Italy boss Cesare Prandelli as their new head coach on a deal that runs until June 2018.
The 59-year-old replaces Pako Ayestarán at the helm after he was dismissed, just six months after taking over from Gary Neville.
"Valencia wish to communicate to fans that they have reached an agreement with Cesare Prandelli, with the Italian being appointed as first team coach through to June 30th, 2018," read a statement on the club's website.
"Prandelli, aged 59, put pen to paper on the deal today alongside VCF Chairwoman LayHoon Chan, and will be in attendance in the presidential box at Mestalla for tomorrow's game between Valencia CF and Atletico Madrid. The new coach will be presented to the media on Monday at 12pmat Mestalla.
"Later on Monday, Prandelli will take charge of his first training session at the Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna."
The Italian is the club's eighth head coach in a little over four years as Valencia have struggled to recapture the consistency they enjoyed in the previous four seasons under Unai Emery, which yielded three successive third-place finishes.
Having lost their opening four games of the season under Pako Ayestaran, caretaker Voro has steadied the ship with successive wins over newly promoted duo Alaves and Leganes.
Voro backed Prandelli's arrival when discussing the Italian's potential arrival before confirmation came.
He said in his pre-match news conference: "Prandelli is a fine coach who has worked at the highest level and led his national team.
"I do not know him personally, but he is a great coach."
