NPFL Managers Shuffle: Amoo To Join Shooting Stars; Wikki Appoint Babanganaru

Nigeria Olympic team assistant coach Fatai Amoo is set to be announced as the new boss of Nigeria premier league side Shooting Stars.

It will be his second spell at ‘The Oluyole Warriors’ after he first too charge of the Ibadan club between 2009 and 2011.

Top officials disclosed that Amoo’s appointment will be made public this week.

He will replace Gbenga Ogunbote, who is on his way to securing a top post after Abdu Maikaba was considered ahead of him for the Akwa United top job.

His contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) ended with the recent Rio Olympics in Brazil.

Nigeria premier league club Wikki Tourists have appointed coach Mohammed Babaganaru as their new coach.

Meanwhile, the management of Wikki Tourists said that after an intensive screening it has employed the services of the former Kano Pillars handler, who led the Kano club to back-to-back league conquests three seasons ago.

Babaganaru, who resigned immediately after Kano Pillars’ poor campaign this past season, signed for Wikki Tourists this afternoon to replace Abdu Maikaba, who has also moved to Akwa United.

The Bauchi club will campaign in next year's CAF Confederation Cup after they finished third in the league this past season.
