Manchester City’s Samir Nasri has set his heart on a permanent move to Sevilla once his loan with the Spanish side finishes at the end of the season, according to Sport.
The Frenchman joined the La Liga outfit just before the transfer window closed in September and has settled seamlessly into life in Spain.
The 29-year-old has quickly established himself as a key player in Jorge Sampaoli’s side – who currently sit second in the league table - scoring three goals in eight appearances thus far.
Although he has a contract at City that runs until 2019, Nasri is reportedly now keen to stay with Sevilla once his loan finishes next June, despite the fact he would have to accept a significant reduction in his wages.
Sport report that Sevilla would be happy to sign the France international permanently, but would want to negotiate a lower fee than the €14 million City are understood to want for the player.
