Manchester United 4-1 Fenerbahce: Pogba nets two as Van Persie scores on Old Trafford return

Robin van Persie may have scored on his return to Old Trafford with Fenerbahce, but the striker was overshadowed by Paul Pogba's double as Manchester United won 4-1.

Pogba's strikes surrounded a penalty by Anthony Martial while Jesse Lingard also got in on the action, before Van Persie's goal.

United took the lead on the half hour mark as Pogba converted a penalty after Juan Mata was brought down in the box.

Moments later, United had another spot kick as Martial was pushed over. This time it was he who took the penalty, a similarly sound one to that of Pogba.

Pogba added a third for United before half time, smashing into the top corner from the edge of the box.

Lingard made it four for United early in the second half after being found in space on the edge of
the box.

Van Persie's moment came late on as he grabbed a consolation for the Turkish side, earning a standing ovation from the crowd.
