Manchester United have set their eyes on signing Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann in a move that will likely see Wayne Rooney leave, the Sunday Mirror reports.
Rooney has been pushed to the periphery at Old Trafford after a poor start to the season, and it appears United are already planning for life after their captain.
The Red Devils are understood to be very keen on signing Griezmann, with the likelihood the
Frenchman will leave Atletico in the event coach Diego Simeone does the very same.
Rooney will be allowed to leave United if the France star signs, with clubs from the United States and China ready to step forward with offers.
