Juventus 3-1 Sassuolo: Higuain hits brace to send Bianconeri soaring

Gonzalo Higuain continued his fine start to life in Juventus as his first-half brace was crucial to their 3-1 Serie A victory over Sassuolo on Saturday.

The Argentine, signed for a massive €94 million in the summer, proved his worth in front of the Turin faithful once more.

Last season's Capocannoniere opened the scoring with a low drive beyond Sassuolo custodian Andrea Consigli, before he met Sami Khedira's flick with an acrobatic finish full of power.

Fellow new signing Miralem Pjanic joined Higuain on the scoresheet when he headed against the bar and then was fastest to the rebound, putting Juventus in cruise control despite Luca Antei's consolation goal.
