Barcelona are considering taking legal action against Santos over the transfer of Gabriel 'Gabigol' Barbosa to Inter, according to Globo Esporte.
The Catalan side had first refusal on the Brazil international after reaching an agreement with the Brazilian club in 2013.
As the offers came in for Barbosa, 20, Santos maintain that they sent the relevant paperwork to Barca on August 29. A day later, he was registered as an Inter player.
However, the Blaugrana insist the documents were not detailed enough and did not give them permission to conclude a deal with Inter.
According to the Brazilian newspaper, Barcelona are considering complaining to FIFA about the situation as they believe Santos have breached the contract and owe them compensation.
