Swansea City have signed Spanish striker Fernando Llorente from Sevilla for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract at the Liberty Stadium after passing a medical and will wear the No.9 shirt.
Llorente, who joined Sevilla last summer after spells with Juventus and Athletic Club, is a European Championship and World Cup winner with his country.
He scored 29 goals in 53 games in 2011-12, the most prolific campaign of his career with Athletic, and led them to victory in the Europa League as well as the Copa del Rey final.
The Pamplona native won the European competition again last season with Sevilla but found first-team opportunities largely difficult to come by.
Llorente could make his debut on Saturday when Swansea take on Rennes at the Liberty Stadium.
