John Utaka Proposed Move To Egyptian Giant Ismaily Falls Through

Former Super Eagles forward John Utaka is open to new offers after his move to Egyptian side Ismaily collapsed.

According to his Turkish agent Tekin Birinci, Utaka, who reportedly signed a two-year deal with the Egyptian club last month, failed to agree with the terms offered him by his former club.
“John Utaka couldn’t agree in terms with İsmaily and coming back from Egyptian club, he is open to any offers as we discussed earlier today,” Birinci tweeted on Monday night.

The 34-year-old joined Ismaily in 1999 and was instrumental in the Dervishes lifting the Egypt Cup, scoring 17 goals in 21 games.
