Arsenal post hilarious response to West Ham's claim Payet is better than Ozil

Dimitri Payet was one of the breakout stars of the Premier League last season – but is he better than World Cup winner Mesut Ozil?

West Ham, the France international’s club, are certainly of that opinion. They even took to Twitter to voice their view with a friendly jibe at the Arsenal star’s expense, displaying a photo of manager Slaven Bilic sharing a joke with Arsene Wenger with the caption: “Come on Arsene, you know Payet is better than Ozil.”

The Gunners were not about to take that barb lying down, though, and offered their response in the form of a hilarious GIF starring full-backs Hector Bellerin and Kieran Gibbs.

While the identity of the better player remains up for debate, there is no question Arsenal claimed victory in this social media battle.
