Oduamadi, Salami Continue Impressive Goal Scoring Run In Finland

AC Milan loanee Nnamdi Oduamadi scored one of the goals as HJK Helsinki defeated PS Kemi 2-0 on Sunday for his club to stay on top of the Finnish top-flight league table.

They have 34 points from 16 games, same as second-placed IFK Mariehamn, who have an inferior goals’ difference.

Oduamadi opened the scoring in the 55th minute for his fifth goal in the league. Compatriot Taye Taiwoalso played the full game for HJK Helsinki.

In another game, fellow Nigeria star Gbolahan Salami was the match winner as KuPS defeated HIFK 1-0, also in Finland.

KuPS are third on the league with 25 points in 15 games. The former Warri Wolves striker scored in the 61st minute. He has now scored six goals in the league and one in the cup.


Nigerians Paul Onobi, Aliyu Abubakar and Azubuike Egwuekwe featured in the game for the entire duration of the game.
