Nigerian youngster Tosin Kehinde scored for Manchester United reserves as they beat Altrincham 2-1 in a pre-season friendly.
The 19-year-old who has progressed through ranks at Old Trafford was lively throughout the first 45minutes he was given by manager Warren Joyce.
Altrincham used the game to open their new playing surface and although the match kicked off 15minutes late it still provided a great spectacle.
The Red Devils were immediately on the front foot as Captain James Weir and Nigerian youngster Tosin tested the goalkeeper.
However, it was the home side that took the lead as Reeves struck a well-timed shot past Dean Henderson in the United’s goal to make it 1-0.
But the lead did not last long as Tosin who was buzzing latched onto Sadiq El Fitouri’s cross and powered past the keeper to make it 1-1 just before half-time.
The 543 spectators enjoyed the game as the second half produce same excitement as the first. Tosin was substitute at the restart but his teammates did the job as Gribbin scored the winner from a rebound after Dawber had parried the ball unto his path.
