The board of the Nigeria Football Federation led by Chris Giwa has approved the appointment of Salisu Yusuf as the new Super Eagles coach.
Salisu will be assisted by Imama Amakapabo and Ike Shorunmu will serve as the goalkeeper trainer.
Former Super Eagles midfielder Emeka Ezeugo has been appointed as the team co-ordinator, while former FCT SWAN chairman Victor Ireole will serve as the team’s media officer.
The new coaches and officials will be unveiled next week in a glamorous occasion in Abuja.
In a similar development, the board also approved committees to manage the different levels of the Nigeria leagues.
Sam Sam Jaja has been appointed as the chairman of the committee to manage the Nigeria Premier Football League. Other members of the committees are Ray Nnaji, Lumumba Adeh, Mohammed Mai Babi, Tukur Babangida and Kasali Obanoye will serve as the secretary.
The Nigeria Women's League will be chaired by Debo Adeoye while other members of the committee are Maltilda Otuene, Sunday Erelusisi, Mustapha Tahir, Emmanuel Orobosa Osahon and Margret Aku.
Abdulazeez Mahammed was appointed at the chairman of the Nigeria National League while other members of the committee are Fatai Olayinka, Saviour Noku, Edith Enekare, and Ekpeyong Elkanem.
The Nationwide League will be chaired by Iss Umar. The other members of that committee are Bernard Jomo, Uche Ejimofor, Aliu Kazeez, Mohammed Maina and Bamidele Ogungbemi.
All members of the leagues committee are charged with the responsibility of managing the leagues till the end of the current league season, while Amoni Biambo has been directed to organise elections into the board of all the league bodies.
Meanwhile, the interim league committees will be inaugurated on Thursday in Abuja.
